NANOWRIMO!!! *too excited to think of what # post this is*

I love to write. But you probably knew that. NaNoWriMo is like a desperate outcry for people to just get back to the basics when it comes to writing and just ENJOY IT! That thrills me, and at the moment, I'm reaaalllyy hyper about it. I decided today on the car ride home from church that I'm gonna do it. Not sure if it had anything to do with the message though, because the message was about how we should be more spiritual... but in any case, I think--no, I know I've gotta do this! If I don't, I'll die and curl up in a little ball of deadness and it'll start stinking up the house.
Oh my gosh, I love pomegranates! That sounds random, but it really isn't. I should be working on homework, but I just need everyone in the whole wide world, or at least anyone who still reads my blog... to know that I'm doing this! James Bojaciuk and Ben Kasson are also doing this with me. If you are a writer and you are up for a big challenge, I recommend you join us too! Just go to NaNoWriMo.org and sign up. If you feel like you just need some convincing, go there anyway and read some of the funny Q&As they have in the FAQs page.
The one thing I'm really worried about though is Physics... I'm already not getting the best grade in that class, and now that we're onto a new section, I'll have to be extra diligent in my work and studying. But maybe for now my life will just revolve around writing and Physics? lol. Ahh. If you ever talk to me, encourage me not to stop. I reaally don't want to poop out on this the second week in or something. Make sure I'm where I should be...
I'm so nervous and excited for November first!

Eleven.

So, I haven't really felt the need to share anything with anyone lately. Through the blog at least. But since I vamped it up a bit, I felt like it was only right that I added a new post.

So, Halloween. Do you "celebrate" it? I don't like saying "celebrate", because of where it originated. Being associated with the occult isn't very high on my to-do list. >_> But I do enjoy a good scare and some new cavities. ^_^ I've never been a very big fan of scary stuff. Not like horror movie scary stuff at least. But since my little visit to Eastern State Penitentiary, I've been rather excited. Maybe that's just because I'm getting into the mood of Halloween, but it was just very... exhilerating. I felt scared like I'd never felt before, and brave at the same time for being able to continue. Maybe that sounds kind of cheesy or something. Bleh. I'm just kind of typing right now, so this probably isn't very interesting.

Bugger. I just pushed the post button and deleted the other half of my post. O_O Ah, oh well. I forget what I was thinking... I've got a costume! It was inspired by the Penitentiary. That'll give you a good hint. I've actually been very interesting in Prison and Corrections recently. Recently being for two years, but still. Usually those kinds of things just wear off, but not this time. Maybe that's good? Hm. Well, it's getting late, I need to do mah homework... and this was my worst post evaah!
Maybe I can leave you with an interesting tid-bit.
Eh... ummm... hrrmmm...
Nope, I got nothing. But that took up a little more space. G'night.

10: Odd Days Both Ways

I don't know where to start with this one. It's blogs like this that I'm glad that my group of followers is small. I've learned more about myself recently. I'm a phlegmatic, for one. I mean, how else can you explain my lack of conflict with others? At least a self proclaimed one. I've also learned that you can make judgments about people without condemning them. I think this is very important. I think my natural curiosity and desire to learn about people and why they are the way they are is one of the reasons I want to join the BAU. Plus my insatiable desire for justice. >_>

To get to the point though, I find the lack of tolerance in other people so intense, it can makes me sick. We all have problems, we all have faults. What makes one person worse than another? My ego must be very fuzzy, because people love to pet it. With that said, I still see my own sins and evil habits. I'm not saying I'm humble. I'm far from it. I'm a very proud person, actually. My introversion works to my advantage, I guess. What am I saying? Oh right. I think one of the greatest problems with my generation is the need to be who society expects us to be. This opinion originated from "Do Hard Things", a book I read last summer. I didn't realize what an impact it had on me until I started having thoughts similar to its teaching completely void of inspiration. What I'm saying though is that this general belief in what a teenager is makes us separate into categories and anyone who isn't like us doesn't fit. Even people who have an array of different kinds of friends still do this. If someone's intelligence level is a little lower than yours, it doesn't make you better than them. If someone's not as creative as you, it doesn't make you better than them (one of my own faults). If someone's pain endurance isn't as high as yours, it doesn't make you better than them. It's an elementary idea, but it's so relevant. People seem to forget it so easily.
